THE River City Newspapers LLC of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is jointly owned by Western Newspapers and Wick Communications. Formed in 1995, the company's largest publication is the daily Today’s News-Herald newspaper. River City Newspapers (RCN) also publishes the weekly Parker Pioneer in Parker, Arizona; the Havasu Home Hunter, a real estate guide; River Extra, a total market coverage shopper, and other products. Based at 2225 W. Acoma Blvd. in Lake Havasu City, RCN employs approximately 45 people in Lake Havasu and Parker. The Today's News-Herald is the primary source of news and information for the Lake Havasu City area. With a year-round population of more than 42,000 people and thousands of part-time winter and summer residents, Lake Havasu City is the largest city in Mohave County. Quinn has an extensive background in newspapers and publishing. Before Lake Havasu City, he held management positions with newspapers in suburban New Orleans, Louisiana, Sierra Vista, Arizona, and two newspapers in Southern California. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona. He and his wife, Elaine, have three children attending Lake Havasu City schools.
